This is a modified version of Packfile Limit Adjuster that works on GTA5 Legacy and Enhanced.
As "Unknown Modder" mentions on the original legacy version, this would only fix problems stemming from a large number of rpfs, and a good gameconfig and HeapAdjuster Enhanced are still required if you're facing other problems.
Its source code is hosted on GitHub (Changelog).
To install, simply drag PackfileLimitAdjusterEnhanced.asi and PackfileLimitAdjusterEnhanced.ini into your game directory.
The default number of rpfs, which can be loaded by the game is adjusted to 13000 by default, but you can increase it even further inside PackfileLimitAdjusterEnhanced.ini

Hey everyone. The Mansions DLC broke some patterns on Enhanced, which are now fixed in v1.1.
@Enzo95 I would, but i honeslty have no idea what most things in gameconfig.xml do, as I haven't looked into it before. It could be worth asking in the 5mods discord, as people are used to modifying it (I haven't yet).
@morothorwol This script increases the maximum number of RPF archives the game can load. So yeah, it allows for more add-ons
nice but i think this shall be in the tools section

whats a good number to set on as my game crashed after to n half hours always crashes up top of map where luxery treehouse wld b near the mill area top left map and sometimes centre of towwn would i up the upjuster as i av alot of building mods like 90 plus lol

@Chiheb-Bacha I play on legacy with most add-on mods. I have the usuals. Yet my game still crashes. "Out of game memory, please reboot the game". I barely had this issue before, but it is persistent now.. Any suggestions? I am concluding is my limited hardware.
@WeebGirlsrCringe if you already up your limits using resource adjuster, heap adjuster, other limit adjusters, and have a good gameconfig, yet still experience crashes, then yeah i'd assume you are hittimg hardware limits.
@Punkman85 This mod only allows the game to load more rpfs. If you don't crash upon loading, then you don't have a problem with rpfs, but your crashes are stemming from something else.
If you are on the latest version of legacy (mansion dlc) and are using scriptHookVDotNet, then going near any LS customs might crash your game at the moment, and its a known issue that's being investigated.
Might want to ask on the discord server of 5mods, someone might know better
@Chiheb-Bacha, I have a 3060 RTX with Intel Core i7-9700F CPU 3.00GHz and 16gb ram. When I was modding back in 2023. There were no issues. Now it's persistent. time for an upgrade. Any recommendations?
@WeebGirlsrCringe hardware recommendations? Honestly i'm the last one to ask about that hahah. I use a laptop, but i don't have any add-on mods tbh. I would go for more ram as a starting point, as that is what i struggle with most.

@WeebGirlsrCringe That's very hard to recommend, as i don't know which mods you have. You could try increasing both until your game becomes stable. If you have 16gb of ram, you could go for 4000 heap and increase if needed. Packfile depends on your add-ons. The game loads about 7000 natively, and you could keep increasing until the game doesn't crash anymore (if you have less than needed, the game crashes on startup, so as long as it launches normally, packfile limit isn't the issue)
