@MarxistStoner___ Most likely, rockstar didn't convert any weapon models to gen9 so weapon mods are always gonna be compatible.
@logoso2020 Oh wow I didn't know this. I was literally just about to test a revolver I had converted with CodeWalker... I wonder what the conversion process changed about the models if they are already compatible with Enhanced by default.
@Cornbread_Da_Hit The only assets I think were converted to gen9 was the particles, a few props, and some cars. But thats it mostly.
@logoso2020 Well even if gen9 conversion isn't necessary, something must be. I tried this gun and the Buck Cattleman Revolver, tried gen9 conversion and leaving as-is, tried installing into the game files directly and into mods folder. Every single permutation of these attempts would cause a crash to desktop. But I removed the mods and it still CTD, and I realized it was the unencrypted rpf archives as the culprit. But OpenRPF is supposed to allow for that, as the name suggests. So for some reason my OpenRPF is not working.
Can confirm this is causing a crash to desktop upon loading into story on the Steam enhanced version. Have recreated the exact scenario numerous times with the same result. Tried on a fresh install as well.
