0.5 IS OUT! Fixed a few things including the fact Rockstar has removed my beloved canon status of Florida
Los Santos, San Andreas is a popular vacation destination. With 18.4 billion dollars in revenue spent by 42.2 million tourists in 2013, you see license plates from all over North America slowing down the freeways and making everyone uncomfortable by yelling at their crying children in public.
This mod seeks to add a wider variety of license plates from around the continent to the vehicles spawning around San Andreas. Each plate includes a custom diffuse and normal map. Currently it is still in development and will be for a while but I figured I should upload what I had and update it as I make more progress. Some plates are unfinished but still partly implemented and I will note those in the following list. Out of state plates are currently only the 2013 issued plates. Any plates that do not have a canon parody are kept as their real world version. Some plates include jokes and references which will be optional in future updates.
NEW IN 0.5: Added Manitoba, Quebec, Maine, and Saskachewan. JB700 prop plate has been redone to actually look like a British plate. Florida plate has been changed to Leonida as to comply with the new lore bequeathed upon us by Rockstar.

hello everyone, tell me will this work on the Five m server online?
@Vander13Decken I quite frankly have no idea. I'm not privy as to how FiveM works. I've heard you're not able to replace or modify vanilla files, and if that is the case then this would not work. I would however find someone who knows how FiveM works and consult them for any definitive answers as to whether or not this mod would be compatible.
How has this been out for so long, to my knowlege, and I still didn't rate it? Slacking on my part. Beautiful plates, based plates, and all the amazing ones in between.
Unfortunately my new computer broke. Amazin. It'll be a while before any updates can be done.
How can I get extra plates instead of just replacing the current plates
@LiamLowe2104 Well, you would have to extract the textures from the vehshare file and either add the new ones you want to the vanilla vehshare or add the old textures into the new vehshare.
Help i installed everything like in the readme file and in the game theres only sa exempt and regular san andreas license plate
@UIQ9999 Not entirely sure how that happened, honestly. Rockstar recently added new plates so that goofed some things up. A new version is currently pending admin approval with updated install instructions.
i now realize i already added saskachewan in 0.4 pls dont bully me about it or ill cry

@Daddynnoob Mexico plates are definitely a part of the plan. Idk next update, but hopefully soon. Currently off work due to an injury so I plan to update this a decent bit in my down time.

I Haven't tried the mod yet, but it looks Fucking Dope. I know you mentioned that optional variants will be made eventually, but for now, the focus is on getting all the desired plates in before creating alternate versions. Maybe soon, real-life license plates can be added. You have plates for other U.S. states, but they will probably be changed to fit the Grand Theft Auto universe. Perhaps in the future, you can change the San Andreas license plate to represent California. If you don't want to go through the same process again, you could change the license plate once. I think this mod will be great. P.S. I'm going to try the mod.

@Oldsmobile Sorry for late reply. It's easy. In the plate entry you want to change the color of in the main carcols.meta file there's a line called "FontColor." Simply replace the last 6 characters of the input to the hex color code of your choice.
