LAPD logos for GTA V patrol cars.

-This mod replaces the door logos for the Vapid Stainer and Police Buffalo with LAPD emblems and text.
-Also removes the door text from the Police Interceptor.
V1.1 - Revised textures
As close as i can get it while keeping realistic emblem size.Using the little space R* has provided.
Install:
Using OpenIV Import the Vehshare.ytd provided into X64e.rpf/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf .
--Or-- use Texture Toolkit to import the police_new2.DDS file into your own Vehshare.ytd .

@lspdhotstuff that skin can`t be done till proper models come out with full templet's. All we can do atm is modify R* content till Open IV and a 3d Software Figure out game out
There's a few areas of white in your police_new2.dds that don't match. Which is leading to a little color distortion on the Interceptor. http://i.imgur.com/mZUJvIQ.png
the interceptors in LA have "to protect and serve" on the doors btw.

I don't know what is happening. I have the DVD version of the game. When I start it downloads some GBs and replaces even texture mods like this and others. If I disconect from internet and try the offline mod it doesn't start at all (says it can't conect to R* servers). Do you people manage to play the game with texture or other (like xml files) mods installed?
@gorgonut Block the game with your firewall.
@Unmutual: Thanks for the reply. I tried to (I don't know if I am doing something wrong. I blocked all the features of GTA V in the advnced settings of Win 7's firewall). It is still downloading when I start the game. And even if I turn of the router the game doesn't starts in offline mod as I wrote above.
the Taurus interceptor has no text, and irl it has the same emblem on the doors
@lareaj2020 I know IRL it does but because of the way that Rockstar has built this file it is not possible to put the emblem on the interceptor.It becomes reversed on the opposite side of the car.All i did to the interceptor is remove the mis matching Side and rear bumper text from the car.It should be blank.

@Element2586 Reversed is still better than completely blank. You should just leave the emblem in.
@Turpentine The right side of the car the emblem will be on the front door and the left side will be on the back door.Nah. Gotta wait for proper models.

@Turpentine Its just not it looks thrown together and wrong. This mod is almost obsolete anyway,
Yeah the original police livery did not match and looked out of place and i think if you put the lapd emblem it will just center and look off.
