Wait then what? what does the random ped do after you enter his vehicle as passenger?
that would be a new way to roam around, if you could also operate the car stereo ;)

The mod is very good but it lacks something, so you can also take the driver's seat and make it possible for you to be a passenger in the back and also change directions as you please

this is by far the best and least buggy passenger mod out there. Sadly as of the latest game version, this no longer works. Sad that it's also abandoned.
The mod will work if you comment out line 27 of "PassengerMod.cs". (You can comment it out by putting "//" at the beginning of the line.)
