This small script allows you to take the fire extinguishers placed around the world.
Installing
Put the contents of the archive you downloaded to your GTA V folder/scripts/.
Using
Walk to a fire extinguisher and look at it, then press the displayed control to take it.
If you're looking at a fire extinguisher but can't take it:
- It might be damaged.
- That extinguisher model is not supported by this script.
- You might need to get a little bit closer.
- This script uses crosshair coords to detect if you're looking at an extinguisher, aim with a weapon at the extinguisher for better detection.
Notes
- This script was tested on game version 1604.1 with no other mods installed.
- Taken fire extinguisher objects will respawn when you leave their area and return.
- Fire extinguisher doesn't have a HUD icon.

Nice little script.
I think it would be sweet if we can make some props be melee/throwable weapons. That way we can pick up objects on the ground and attack people with them. Or better, things like chairs too. I remember being able to do that in Saints Row 2.

is it able to increase the time on the extinguisher like 30-45 instead of 15 ?
just tried it, does not work placed file in scripts , i have SHVDN and SHV. i dont get a prompt to take it
Update it works. but yeah you need to aim with a weapon first. a bit weird but yeah. still wanting to know if the ammo can be increased from 15 to more ..

Cool mod, just wanna let you know using the extinguisher will alert people as if it's a weapon. You maybe can change that.
