Have you ever tried any mod that gives player ragdoll reaction when shot?
Do you ever ask why most of the gameplay just involves the player face down on the dirt?
Why we can't even aim or retaliate? Damn po-po gunning me down to the ground!
80s action movie physic is good but when will i have chance to even shoot my enemy, huh?
So, that's basically my thought that pushed me to study the whole shebang about EuphoriaHelpers.
I aim to deliver ragdoll that is close to the NPC but still lets player to get up and fight,
by not making the player directly slumps down after getting shot even with Kolibri pistol.
This mod doesn't edit NPC physics/ragdoll.
It's better to watch the showcase video rather than reading my explanation above

Make sure the requirement above works, then you can download this mod.
Just drag and drop iGotShot.dll and iGotShot.ini into the "scripts" folder
Use the iGotShot.ini to change some values if the game becomes too hard for you
Also use Accuracy Fix if you die too easily (you can adjust from it's .ini)

- Ragdoll reaction based on NPC ragdoll (calibrated on vanilla game)
- Random variation of hit reactions (holding wound, flailing hands, aiming pistol)
- Locational reactions and impact force (can identify body parts)
- Scaled ragdoll duration with gun damage and health armor remaining
- Modded weapon metas mod (RWP, IC, etc) is supported
- Scaled impact force with weapon type and shooting distance
- Ini config to adjust duration and recover time (iGotShot.ini)
Requirements:
- Install ScriptHookVDotNet3 Nightly Version, if you don't have it yet.
- Not required but recommended, EnforcerZhukov's Accuracy Fix
(Latest version is posted in the comment section of AF mod page by me)

Brother, this is the most epic thing that has been done with ragdoll regarding the shots we received, great work and thank you very much!
@mbahdokek This mod brings the same concept as either GTA IV's Bullet Impact Euphoria Mod or from GTA IV's NPC's ragdoll system, very perfect mod to make the combat more challenging.

@mbahdokek This is incredible!!! Haven't seen a mod like this in so long! Could you by any chance add the recover feature the AI use after getting shot? Like how they aim the gun at the target for both one handed and two handed weapons after being shot. Sometimes when falling to the ground they go into a shooting position firing at the player then standing back up? Just a question as that may be too difficult, but if you need any help for scripts involving directional based animation then check out the one buddy shot script I had Zef from this 5mods make. We added directional animations for the buddy shot reactions and this same mechanic might just work for this mod to make it an absolute gem! Let me know what you think of course, and great work on this mod! Let me also know if you'd wish to speak to Zef on discord btw as he is very knowledgeable on the subject and would love to share what he knows! 🔥🐺🔥💯

@WolfFire23309 It's not a matter of animation but to stop the default behaviour of the game that forces the player to drop his weapon when in ragdoll (2 handed weapons) but thanks for the suggestion

Yh, I would love to see you implement a ‘last stand’ (JediJosh)/wounded state that NPCs do upon hitting a specific damage threshold… both the standing when they are holding their side and on the ground sitting up.
