INSTALLATION:
- Optional: Watch the video.
- Install both the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2 (or higher, so skip this on Windows 10) and the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2013 (x64).
- Download/Install ScriptHookV
- Download/Install ScriptHookVDotNet
- Download/Install NativeUI
- Add the .dll and .pdb files from the zip to the scripts folder. (Your C:/GTA5Directory/scripts/)
NATIIVE UI GOES IN YOUR SCRIPTS FOLDER
USAGE:
- Once in game you can hit 'I' to bring up the inventory, and craft items with C, and show how to make the items with F.
- You can hit F10 to bring up the zombies menu.
- You can go up to a bodyguard and press E to configure him/her.
- When in front of a vehicle with low engine health, 'E' to repair it.
NOTES:
- Zombie are attracted to noise so be weary of that or you may attract the horde. Manage your survivors so they won't shoot when you don't want them to. (Remember that you can apply tasks to all survivors at once).
- This IS a survival mod, so food and sleep need to be managed, make sure you hunt for food and loot for resources regularly so you can stay alive in this cold new world.
- If you run into a "friendly" group, try not to shoot at them. During a zombie apocalypse there is no such thing as being civil.
- Build up your camp, and recruit new survivors. Remember that you can tell them to stay behind and "Chill" if needed.
- Manage weapons you share with your group. After all, weapons are the key to having the upper hand against dangerous enemies.
- Craft walls and barricades to keep zombies from entering your safe zone.
The menu key-codes are editable in the .ini file that is created after you run the game with the mod.

- It's way easier to sleep now, and nearby enemies will be marked on your map if there are any. If you're in an area where pedestrians usually spawn like city streets etc. don't expect for it to always be free of zombies, that's just the nature of the game.

Cause that's like the biggest flaw of this mod atm, I don't mind the lack of zombie animations or any inventory glitches/whatever else there is, I'd still give it a 5/5 if only I could make them not spawn in a specific zone so that what I have built will actually make sense (barricades and stuff). No point in building then going outside only to find zombies spawning inside it/behind you. >_>

Yeah it'd be nice to maybe implement a simple mod/script where you use your character's movements (walking/running) to set up a Safezone around a certain .XML map/safezone area. The outline you made in the world using your character (or maybe even some sort of implemented top-down drawing view) could even show up on map and mini-map in whatever color you choose. I wish I knew how to make these kinds of scripts. OOo!

What I think the mod needs (so far)
1. The ability to create safe zone areas where the zombies wouldn't be able to spawn.
2. an OPTIONAL update that would change the AMBIENT SOUNDS within the world- Think occasional screaming in the distance that you can barely hear... Yells for help from males AND females... Car tires peeling off as if someone's on the run!... Zombie screeches/yells like in DYING LIGHT or Dead Island.. Ambulance sounds rushing in the distance (all these sounds would be very occasional and somewhat low so you can't hear them so much that it gets annoying but if you're not busy shooting or driving, you can easily hear them.

Possibly better looking Stamina/Hunger/Thirst UI with the ability to turn it off via the zombie menu itself (F7)The ability to get infected (which can be toggled on or off) with a cure being a combination of rarely found items.
The ability to search all trash cans, garbage cans, and trunks and hoods of cars for parts and resources
Imagine you've searched over 10 cars already, you're getting bored, you say SCREW IT i'm searching one more, you do so and you find A PISTOL with 20 rounds! Orrrrr! You're scavenging trash cans, finally you find a necessary ingredient in making a certain resource!Give us MORE props to place around the world so we don't have to resort to MAP EDITOR for making a base.
Give more varied ped survivor spawns according to the areas I'm in! I WOULD LOVE TO SEE occasional POLICE survivor groups near the area where the police stations are! Maybe even just 1 or 2 officers in a group or NORMAL civi's! I want to see MILITARY personnel near Zancudo that have a BARRACKS truck sometimes nearby as they're battling it out near the entrance trying to keep out the zombies.
I get that all this will take a lot of work and the author is probably not working on this mod anymore. FOREVER but... I can wish and stuff...

9. Finding backpacks (that can be toggled to be shown on and off) that increase resource carrying capacity (cause right now it's too small of a capacity IMO.)

This zombie mod is amazing but the maker need to upgrade it with more features like when you have flare gun you can call for drop , you can noisy weapon to throw so zombies horde can follow it while you make escape , all vehicles must have independent light unlike in this mod when you turn on blackout option on it also disable light on cars too , radio to find so can call for short airstrike , zombies will be hard and they can grab you from car , add animal zombies too , more crafting to build big house , unmanned turret guns , many more if you have more ideas .x

@It's_Original Maybe try to set the spawn distance to really far away, who knows. I don't think it's fixable in the mods current state, just something we all have to deal with, I hate that when I look forwards there's nothing there but as soon as the camera isn't looking there, something spawns lol. It would probably be hard on anyone's system if the dev made it so that zombies and cars just always appeared all around the map at once. Probably not even possible with todays hardware just because of the way GTA V works and how good the textures on everything are. If only somehow the dev figured it out and turned GTA V into a Dead Rising kind of game with zombies all over the place, imagine that.... Actually.. I'm about to mess with the .INI settings right now and see what happens if I set the MInimum amount of zombies to spawn in at once to 70 and the maximum 120 lol, maybe with my JUST upgraded 8GB of RAM to 16GB of Ram I can play for a good 10 seconds before it crashes and my PC explodes.

10. Better stealth mechanics, I shouldn't be seen by zombies if they're not facing me and if they're more than 20 feet away or if I'm in CROUCH mode!11. ZOMBIE HORDES! State Of Decay style! Just a group of 5 - 12 zeds moving together down streets that are all just a tiny bit more aggressive and/or that do slightly more damage than non zombie hordes with a slightly beefed up detection system.

I need some help with the ZombiesMod.ini file.
I mean, there is no "Craft" in the "[KEYS]". And that means I can't craft or use F.
I would be happy if someone can help me with this file or something.3 gün önce -
sometimes when i do an animation from the mod (looting, placing an item, etc.) i just fall through the map, along with everything around me. sometimes it happens for no reason as well, and it's very annoying when i lose a car, guards, or straight up die because of it, but not entirely sure its this mods fault, just speculation.

GOOD NEWS: @sollaholla started to work on an update for the mod already! He will count with the help of some more people to make it even better than what it is right now.
Be patient because it'll take some time until we see great progress on it, but at least is being developed already!

To everyone with problems as F10 menu not working or similars, we don't have any fix to this because it doesn't seems to be a problem of the mod itself, It seems to be a problem at your end. Before commenting, please be sure:
1.- You read carefully the description.
2.- You've installed everything needed to run this mod without problems (Check description requeriments).
3.- You don't have a pirated version of the game (May not work with ilegal copies).
3.- The version of your Simple Zombies mod installed is 1.0.2d (Delete any residual file from older versions, also the ones called "Inventory.xml" and similar created by this mod).
4.- There are not other Script mods that can cause conflicts with this one.

If the problem persists, we can't do anything else, but you're free to create a Topic in Forums "Installation Help & Troubleshooting" section and there will be people willing to help. Maybe someone find the workaround to make it work for all the people with the same problem.
We can say with total security that we've tested every version of this mod before a release and all of them were and are working fine on our respective systems.
