- Heatbar reworked, along with added thresholds for being ratted on and cop spawns while dealing. Bar will now change colour, when its yellow(>25%) a cop can spawn, when its red(>50%) you can be snitched on.
@ChevyBoi_Don Cash and weapons also contribute to having the duffle bag, i want there to be a negative side effect to carrying alot of stuff. 1 weapon = 1 unit, $50k = 1 unit, 1oz of a drug = 1 unit. More than 15 units the player will be slowed down and given the bag. Eventually the player will have limits to how much he can carry too.
@Soflogamer Tbh that looks to me like a NativeUI error. Some mod devs distribute old or custom versions of NativeUI with there mod that are sometimes incompatible with the latest version my script requires.
@DamarJavis I want to make as realistic depiction of dealing that works all the way up the food chain while still being a game thats fun to play, from low level street dealing > distribution > production / importation. With all the risks you would expect to encounter in such a journey. One day you can be riding high with the world at your feet, your caught slipping and the next your flat broke and alot of people want you dead.
Zee is mostly a place holder, i have plans to keep him but he wont be a one stop shop in future, he will be your foot in the door to the rest of the underworld.
@DamarJavis No problem, Best thing to do if your unsure of how something works is to read the change log on the forum post or the one in the download. Ive yet to write any kind of detailed information on mechanics as the mod is in very early stages and everything is subject to change. Been trying to use the change log to explain any new mechanics as best i can when i implement them.
@DamarJavis His stock will also deminish over time slowly, he earns money from this stock but only half as much as if he sold it to you.. Personally at the start, i buy up all his weed, and keep buying as much as i can afford every time he reloads. Even if i cant sell it all in time, i just store what i cant shift. He very quickly gets to a point he has over 100oz, and he wont buy any more for a couple days and i dont need to buy any more weed for a few days either. Its these days he will be able to afford much more cocaine than normal.
@Youngbumpy If the Icon was named drug car, then it should be from my mod. Maybe you had set a drug car without noticing and an NPC stole it. to use a drug car, when you are near the vehicle and not in a vehicle a green marker will appear at the rear of the vehicle. Approach this marker, make sure you are standing still and you should get a button prompt to open it (sprint button), once its open, push the button again and a menu will appear just like the stash house menu. Remember you can set any car to be a stash vehicle. Default key is 'N' when inside a vehicle of your choosing.
@DamarJavis Zee will spend 75% of all money earned on weed when reloading unless he has over 40oz. Then 60% of the remainder will be spent on crack until he has over 40oz, then the remainder is spent on coke. At the very start Zee has very little money, so the first few reloads he will hardly have anything left for coke. Once his money starts to increase (it pretty much doubles each time) he will be able to afford to buy more coke, will buy even more if he has plenty of weed and crack in stock (which should be the case when he has alot of money)
@Soflogamer Open ScriptHookVDotNet.log in notepad, You will find this file in your GTA folder. Look for the error and post it here. I cant help you without it. My first thought is maybe you are missing one of the XML files found within the LsLife folder. But i can not be sure.
@rew123 Being ratted on is dependant on the amount of customers you interact with in a short span of time and how wealthy the area is and how long you have been on the same street for. In real life if you have people constantly approaching you or getting in an out of your car, some locals are going to think something dodgy is taking place and tell the cops, much more likely in a wealthy suburb and much less likely in the hood.
Go stand on the street in a wealthy suburb area looking dodgy with people approaching you, you handing them something and then walking away, and see how quickly you attract unwanted attention.
Its a basic mechanic right now but i have plans to make it better.
