My first Mod in texturing...:)
Just a simple re-texturing of several vehicles and skins to bring a Raccoon City-feeling to GTA 5.
It will Replace the following vehicles:
- Trevors Frogger to Umbrella Corp. Heli
- Swift "Flying Bravo" to UBCS Heli
- Cargobobb 2 ( via Vehicle Spawner ) to Umbrella Corp. Cargo Heli
- Annihilator to S.T.A.R.S. Heli
- Sheriff SUV to S.T.A.R.S. SUV
- Sherrif Cruiser to Arklay Mountains Sherrif Cruiser
- Police Cruisers to RPD
- LS Firetruck to Raccoon City Fire Dept.
- LS Ambulance to Raccoon CIty Ambulance
- Blimp to Umbrella Corp. Blimp
- Police Riot to UBCS Van
- Trevors and Michaels "Gruppe 6" Security Gear to S.T.A.R.S. Uniforms
More textures might be following like the Humane Labs ( if I'm able to locate the necessary file from OpenIV ) to
Umbrella labs, the Police Stations to RPD, industrial vehicles, and more.
Lets see if we can convert Los Santos into Raccoon City...;)
>>> Make backups first!!!!

In order to install the vehicles, OpenIV will be needed. Create a new folder in your Grand Theft Auto 5 main directory and
name it "mods".
Copy the files/folders "update", "x64e", "x64w" and "x64v" and paste them into your "mods"-folder to avoid re-updating
your game after you replace the textures.
With the help of OpenIV, you can now edit your "mods"-folder and replace the textures in the following paths:
- michael skin: x64v/models/cdimages/streampeds_players/player_zero
- trevor skin: x64v/models/cdimages/streampeds_players/player_two
- frogger ( update-patchday2ng ): update/x64/dlcpcks/patchday2ng/dlc/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles
- cargobob, firetruck, sheriff, sheriff SUV, riot ( update-patchday3 ):
update/x64/dlcpcks/patchday3ng/dlc/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles
- cargobob, swift ( update-patchday4 ): update/x64/dlcpcks/patchday4ng/dlc/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles
ambulance, blimp, annihilator, police ( x64e ): x64e/levels/gta5/vehicles
Have fun and if you find some issues or suggestions for improvement, tell me..;)

@Pedge
I checked the problem with the heli, but I changed only the one texture in one folder...did your game made an update after you installed the textures? or did you made an extra "mods"-folder in your directory like I described? that was the issue I had before as well...thats why the extra "mods" folder...might be the same problem TheeOldOne has...I will try to check whats wrong, but the problem is I can't uplaod an update to this till monday, cuz I'm at work the whole time...but I won't forget about those problems and will correct them as soon as I can...I want the users to be happy with this mod...:D
Trevors Frogger didn't change. (Am I suppose to put more than the txd in?, because his is the only one I wanted badly enough.
@Pedge
Let me see if I changed anything else, but don't worry I'll fix this...;)
Any one else having the problem, that Trevors Frogger didn't change?
If so, please let me know.
Let me know what the issue is as I have changed some artwork before and for some reason it didnt change, might be embedded textures in the model files. thx
ambulance is red not like in picture can you figure out why? I need it badly
@Red_Eagle No mod folder It's right in the rpf, in fact, I can open it up and see it but it's not there in game. What do you mean by mod folder, is there a way to load modded rpfs only when playing so their updates don't overwrite or something?
@Pedge
Exactly the same Problem I had as well...seems like R* built in some back doors to give modders a special challenge..:D
if you create an extra "mods" folder with the .rpf file in it and which associates with the .asi provided within OpenIV it will certainly work...I know it sounds extremely complicated to explain, but maybe in GTA Forums it will be explained better...;)
5/5
@Red_Eagle Can you point me to where that is? Because the way you explained it I have no idea. :(
@Red_Eagle Hows the game even know to look in a mods folder?
Hot diggity damn, making a mod folder worked, so if copying a modified rpf in the mods folder means I can always not have to worry about them being overwritten why not back them all up in there and just mod those from now on?
@Pedge
Because the "updates" folder in the main directory will always be connected and update itself if somethings wrong that is what I believe....
So everytime I want to mod something, i make a copy of the needed .rpf file and paste it into my mods folder so I can edit it properly...:)
So did it work now correctly for you?
Yeap and I only ediited the backup in the mod folder, so that overrides unless i play gta online or something? then it uses the real ones or what. You use a messenger of any kind, this is an awkward process talking in this way.
@Red_Eagle Thanks, for this Mod!
Very ... Cool ... Thank you!
good!
I know this is an old thread but can anyone get me a clear side and rear view of the S.TA.R.S. suv. Plans are to modify my 07 suburban. F.g.librado87@gmail.com
Please and thank you.
Sad that its missing few car files
The stars' SUV doesn’t show up, can you fix the problem if there’s one?
