What does this mod bring new to the game?
- reworked suspensions to simulate the car's feeling on the road
- reworked breaking system
- reworked traction on all axes, especially lateral / sideways.
- reworked acceleration / top speed and gear shifting to better simulation of driving in the city.
- reworked car velocity and aerodynamics.
Hello guys, first of all, you should know that this is a realistic handling mod for those who drive this car in FPS mode. I created this handling to give you the sense of control and true feeling of the car, NOT SPEED. Driving this car through the crowded city , alongside with other cars is just a beauty. You can control your car very easy without going to 100 km/h too fast.
Now, there is a reason I've set the car's max speed to 100 km/h. In my experience of editing handling for gtav, I've came to the conclusion that if you want 1st person driving in this game you cant go beyond lets say 120-130 (and thats a bit of stretch already). If you drive too fast in this game, you will not be able to get the true feeling of the car.
installation Instructions:
1. You need the car:

2. Replace the handling.meta found in:
update / x64 / dlcpacks / 918 / dlc.rpf / data

@ValkyriePC This is awesome bro...just tried ur mod for the first time..i gotta say the handling is just amazing it makes u feel the weight of the car but yea steering lock is to low..so I just changed it from 22 to 35 in my game... cool bro hope to see such handling fr more cars especially sedans, busses and trucks... Can you make this type of handling for the GMC TDH bus?

I had almost forgotten what it felt like driving in gta with its arcade style handling.. There were handling mods fr san andreas which made the vehicles feel heavy and drive realistic which was missing in GTA 5 and now thanks to you I can really enjoy that.

Thank you man. I am now uploading my city-driving handling mod for BMW i8. Now it drives like a beauty in the city. I still have to do some more work on the suspensions, but for that I will update the file in the next few days. Don't get me wrong, the suspensions are okay for driving on a flat surface, but when you hit a bump in the road, the suspensions feel too stiff, too sportish. Thank you for your support. Don't worry, I will make this type of handling for most cars, it just that it takes time.
@ValkyriePC gr8 but i'd rather use this kinda handling for sedans n heavy vehicles than sports n super cars...but yea I'll be looking forward for more...keep going

I preffer sedans myself, but I do it for any car that has great interior, and BMW i8 has one. To be honest, the i8 handling i've made is one of the best that i created. Waiting on admin approval. You can check it out here it get approved:

@ValkyriePC sure will do...anyway to stop that screeching noise while breaking?? 1 thing I hate is this automatic reverse the moment the car comes to standstill it moves back as if there was nothing. Remember there was a mod for SA where in the car had to stop and after few seconds the car would come in reverse. hopefully somebody makes that for gta 5

that noise is present because the car's traction is on the back wheels. If I make it 4x4 then it wouldnt have that screetching noise. Anyway, that specific sound is only present when the car breaks while turning.
@ValkyriePC ok...cos it feels realistic when that darn sound doesnt come everytime u hit the brake..cos I'm getting it everytime I hit the brake

You can change the car sounds in vehicle.meta file to a car that doesnt make that screetching sound, like lapmadati or something else.
Is there any way you could teach me how to do this if I contact you, I love driving around in this game as the visuals are very nice and realistic (I've been looking for handling mods for ages so thanks for these), because the standard driving in the game is pretty crap and no where near realistic :) Thanks!! I was planning on doing it on most of the cars in the game if possible, so like a massive handling rehaul

@Nielsen No, i dont use a program. Just lots of reading and testing different values until i understood how each value affects other values.
