This mod adds 100 action figures from GTA Online to singleplayer for you to collect. The rewards? I'll put them at the bottom so you don't spoil yourself.
Installing
Put the contents of the archive you downloaded into your GTA V folder.
Config
The config file is located at GTA V folder/mod_SPActionFigures/config.ini.
bFiguresAlwaysVisible: This option enables/disables map icons for action figures and is disabled by default. Set it to true and they'll appear on your map with the name "Action Figure" and a little blue Hardcore Comic Store icon. (you can also watch this video for exact figure locations, since blips might be misleading for figures that are in the tunnels etc.)
bStoreMessages: This option enables/disables Hardcore Comic Store sending you a message whenever the mod loads. Enabled by default, set to false if you get annoyed by the messages.
iFigureReward: This option lets you set how much money you'll get for each figure you collect. $250 is the default value.
Requirements
- Script Hook V
- GTA V version 1737 and above (since it uses assets from mpvinewood)
My Progress?
You can see your progress by visiting Hardcore Comic Store.
Having Issues?
It would be better if you provide SPActionFigures.log and your game version. (SPActionFigures.log is created when the mod runs and you can see your game version by hovering your cursor on GTA5.exe)
Can't promise you'll be getting a response, though.
Changelog
v1.0.1:
- Figures now get saved to %localappdata%/mod_SPActionFigures, your save file will be copied to that location when the mod loads.
- Fixed a loading issue. (figure data being duplicated every time a save game was loaded)
Thanks to @PsychoDad for reporting & providing a solution to these issues.
The Rewards
- $250 (default config) per figure x 100 = $25000 for collecting all figures
- Up-n-Atomizer, Unholy Hellbringer and Widowmaker spawns at Hardcore Comic Store
Source code is available on GitHub.

@rootcause I've tested the new version and it works fine. And thanks for mentioning me in the mod description :)
Gonna give this a try later. Seems like a decent mod idea
@rootcause. it shows the icons for where the supposedly spawned artifacts are but no artifacts have been spawned even after the log says it spawned 100 artifacts. Apparently I'm not the onle one with this problem...
Hmm for some strange reason i'm not receiving a text from the comic book store guy. Everything else works perfectly fine tho.
@rootcause not sure if you took this from online and implemented it into sp but on my gta loading screen this exact mod is now in online and i’ve never seen it before this mod came out lmao
@rootcause im having the same issue as Banana_Slit. I got no text from the comic book store clerk. Other than that the mod works great
@rootcause I've fixed the "Notifications not shown"-issue. Please check the pull request on github.
@gunziness @Banana_Split
@PsychoDad thanks for the fix I can't wait to try it out
@Banana_Split You're welcome. My github page is linked in my profile if you want to test the fix.
@FPS you need to click v-spactionfigures from psychodad's github next on the top bars you will see a several words you need to click releaase next to branch and it will be there ready for you to download. @PsychoDad thanks for the fix the notification popped up as soon as I start a game, but did I notice an issue that the text message isn't readable via the phone messaging app.
Here's the link I shoulda done this in the first place sorry.
https://github.com/PsychoDad9999/v-spactionfigures/releases
Recommended and must have mod that enables some more collectibles for people like me that can't have enough. About 100 action figures are scattered around Los Santos and the surrounding country side for players to find. Quick install and easy to modified. A small issue is the text message being unreadable from the phone, but other than that this mod is guaranteed to add some flavor to your game.
@Banana_Split Glad to hear that my patch has fixed the notification issue. I'm not sure how to add the message to the phone app, but I think that's a very minor issue ;)
You have to look for the figures in the map. If you only see a white monkey head icon on the map that means the mod is working properly. If you want to see the location of the collectibles on the map you need to enable it via the config file that was in the folder you placed in your gta v dictionary. When you do that you will see other monkey heads on the map. Read the description in the front page if your having more issues
@rootcause It's an older mod, sir, but it still checks out. Can you add the banner when collecting a action figure that reads "FIGURE COLLECTED -random number-/100 Action Figures collected" instead of the text box above the mini map?
I was never aware of this amazing
Way cool. I'm on epic games version 1.0.1868.4 and it seems to be working fine.
I love this mod :) I'm using the source to change the locations of the figures and add more
Hey there's a slight issue with the rendering. Apparently the action figures are only visible when they render at max detail, meaning that people who can't use extended distance scaling will only see them when they are right next to them. Even when you max out the extended distance scaling option they disappear without even going that far away from them.
Well it's not slight at all now that I tried a couple of things. I hope you can fix the rendering soon. I've been working on figures.xml and managed to add more figures and repositioned some but goddamn, the fact that you can't even see where the figures are if you are not close enough really kills the vibe. For some reason your signal jammer mod works perfectly fine and you can see the jammers from miles away.
