Would be funny to have the function only when wearing some specific glasses. If I remember right, you can change your hat / sunglasses from the inventory. So if it would be possible to associate night vision to an item, it really would be night vision googles.

@shoop Dude What about laptops which don't have numpads?

@Mughal, just write an autohotkey macro to send numpad+ and numpad- using any key you want. Go to http://ahkscript.org/ they have plenty of documentation and this a one line macro.
