Simple tool to remove weapons on AI around you, mainly used for filming purposes but it works with whatever you want to do.
[INSTALLATION]: Place the Lua file in the addins folder in the LUA plugin folder.
If you're using the LUA Plugin (Developer version) a UI element will open indicating that the LUA plugin has been loaded, it should also say 'ped_wep_remover' loaded.
[USE]:
Press 'Numpad 1' to remove all weapons on AI around you (include Police and random peds etc...)
This was requested by a GTA video editor due to the fact that the police would always wreck the cars he was driving
or just generally be a pain in the ass whilst filming.

Trying to film a simple movie, redneck gets frightened takes out the entire set huh.
I'd like to see a mod that allowed you to save your position and time and instantly go back to it when you press a button.
by any chance u know how to remove fire weapons from the AI's? so lets say if you fool around in groove street it actully be a melee / melee weapons fights insteed of gunfire?
Does it work with ped riot? Zombies?

@satan I have an idea. If this isn't removing melee weps I might just have to go through the individual weapon hashes
@Skyscraper_Justo Satan reported that it doesn't remove melee weapons. However it should do with any firearms.
It's not working, it shows the "'ped_wep_remover' loaded" message, but I press num 1 and nothing happens.
@drigues you could try rebinding the key within the lua file

@GimmeSomeMore the LUA plugin / scripthook has been updated quite a lot and I didn't update my mods with it, I've done two already, so I'm going to start trying to fix all of them.
I need more pedestrians to carry without me carrying and pull it out encase shit happens. That's what mod i need in-game. I'd like to test a mod like that out before even thinking about removing weapons from anyone already carrying in-game. I've tested the more traffic mod out seems pretty good.
