This is my first small mod. It spawns ramps when you press K (farther) & L (instant jump). It's pretty funny for jumping other cars when ghost driving.
It's called "Perfect Rampspawner" because it has gradient detect, so you can also spawn in when not on a flat road.
I could improve on this (horizontal gradient etc), and I will if there's demand
Keys
L = instant jump
K = Jump from a bit farther
Crtl + L = Higher instant jump
Crtl + K = Higher farther jump
installation
- Make sure to have the latest scripthook & scripthook.net
- Drag file to your scripts folder and drop it

Tbh this mod isnt really for doing crazy stunts, I was just trying to get my spawned props to allign with the ground properly, and eventually it worked and I uploaded with a ramp for stunting.
I agree this mod is probably not really something youd have in your game, but the gradient detect is there for anybody to use in their own mods! just send me a message if you cant figure out how to do it.
Anyway im working on a mod (with stunting/fun intention) this time, which will (hopefully) not be done yet & more functional! After that I really want to start making more "serious mods"

Ah, thanks for pointing that out, does his mod properly place ramps on hills etc as well(does it detect the gradient)? I tried to test it myself, but couldnt get his mod to work somehow
@Sander It doesn't detect the gradient but it uses the car's rotation.

@Sander his mod use Game.Player.Character.CurrentVehicle.Rotation and Game.Player.Character.CurrentVehicle.Position

@MAFINS Hahaha Ramp jam's defintely the better spawner, but maybe in some cases my gradient system will come in handy, I'll just leave it like this and see

both aren't perfect! would release my own ramp mod if I had enough time.
Ramp jam does change the vehicle direction, this is why I don't like it, drifting and spawning is shit af. Also it spawns the ramps quite bad at specific rotations...

@qiangqiang101 For some reason that doesn't work quite right. I spent a good 6-8 hours one night trying every method I could possibly think of to make the ramp angles perfectly line up when the player's vehicle was not level and man, it's near-impossible. I plan to revisit that soon though. I've been working on two other mods lately.
And fyi, Ramp Jam ramps don't depend on the ground (except for the 5-across ones). That way you can ramp up into the air and all over the place.
@WingsOnHigh You should consider considering the vehicle dimensions for placing the ramp in front of the vehicle so that it works for every vehicle.
You should also consider allowing me to remake it in my trainer huehuehuehue.
I agree that this isn't a mod that everyone would have in their game, but the mod definitely does something that interests me. In fact, I'd like to see the sourcecode, as I'm interested on how you are calculating the angle at which the ramp should spawn.
