PLANNED CHANGES 1.2 - All gangs, depending on their lore location and power will carry and have the ability to purchase and equip weapons that are realistic. This is for players that use RP saves that disallow them from buying overpowered weapons from Ammu-Nation (working on a fix to lock the Ammu-Nation doors or force a weapon permit system in SP). All gang set territories will have realistic values adjusted so that you will, for example, encounter highly armed guards around the Madrazo Manor in the hills, but will encounter cheaply armed bikers around the Lost MC clubhouse.

Now, to the specifics:
This is *not* a gang warfare modification (unless you specifically want it to be). The majority of the "turfs" have been removed and only the lore-based locations remain. I use "Gang and Turf" to place the city's gangs and their members where they should be and identify them on the map. Each gang (and their subsequent sets) are placed where Rockstar's lore has established them. Carson Avenue Families can be found around Davis Station, the Armenian Mob can be found at their Rogers Salvage and Scrap HQ, etc. All turf markers have been hand-placed. All of these turfs start at 0 value for roleplay purposes (they quickly upgrade and are limited to basic weaponry, adjust according to your wishes).
Installation: Download and install @lucasvinbr's Gang and Turf mod. Replace the original "GangData.xml" and "TurfZoneData.xml" files with what you've downloaded here. Your gangModData folder is located in your root game directory. While in-game, use the "B" button to adjust your Gang and Turf settings accordingly.
My personal preference has been to set gang behavior to Defensive and prohibit the gangs from attacking each other or myself, so they simply exist and defend their turf if attacked (why would the Ballas want Stab City? Ridiculous.)

@arsonistsarehot My own gang is pulling up shooting me and after the war is over its like all near by friendlies r shooting me, any idea what could be causing this?
@kingneak85 The current player-owned gang set by default are the Chamberlain Gangster Families because that is Franklin's set in the storyline. There are two other sets that are also a part of the Families: Carson Avenue Families and Davis Neighborhood Families. Franklin doesn't run those sets, so they aren't friendly and will defend their turf from Chamberlain Families. You could try setting their isPlayerOwned tag to "true" in GangData.xml to allow more than one set to follow the player.

The area on blips that you set that mean more gang member spawn on that point right?
some other mods with extra blips were causing issues like disappearing of ls customs and ammunition, is there any blips issues after adding this script?
@xxeennxxeeii47 The area allows the specific set to spawn in a wider reach from the blip coordinates, but doesn't make them spawn more. That is handled inside the ModOptions.xml file inside your gangModData folder in your GTAV root folder. You'll want to change <maxCoexistingGangs> to 17, <spawnedMemberLimit> to 12, <thinkingCarLimit> to 4. Those are my personal settings and they spawn a realistic amount of gangmembers and vehicles in each area. Increase, save, and restart your scripts as needed.
@N0TTY None that I've noticed. I have blips for all the convenience stores, Auto Dealers V, Benny's SP, SPA II rental locations, Fleeca Bank Heists, Safecracker, LS Life, etc. (Control N x 2 to toggle all set blips in Gang and Turf).
@arsonistsarehot makes sense, ty for this mod ive been waiting for a gang mod that works with Ls Life.

@arsonistsarehot Hey bro. the mod only show the markers you did but the gang members doesnt spawn and my game dont recognize your area as a taken area. I had to create custom ones to make your gang appears

@arsonistsarehot And it doesnt work. Ive set DNF to true and I still cant recruit them and they shoot at the chamberlain peds but not the player

@arsonistsarehot it’s a great mod but is there a way so gangs have random shootouts with each other?
I don't know if I agree with the Lost MC being "cheaply armed" 100% of the time. Sure, it would make sense for a lot of them to be armed with compact weaponry and stuff like DB sawed offs and maybe machine pistols because they ride bikes, but appropriate to see bikers/hangarounds at their hangouts and/or clubhouse armed with stuff like AKs and M16s. Not a criticism so much as an opinion and maybe food for thought is all. I like this amazing mod regardless.
it's good but it's insanely annoying how even after i set my gang to control grove street vagos and marabuta grande just randomly start fighting there and on chamberlain hills without interacting with us its annoying asf
does this work with the newest version
Thanks for this always been wanting a realistic as possible version to this mod, i'm eager to try this out! Just with there was a diplomacy system in the mod.
the game doesnt recognize any of the zones in your configuration
@arsonistsarehot when is the next update as the game doesnt recgonize the zones as "takeable" so i cant control more zones than whats already given
