@TheJanitor btw i already sorted out which sound is for which gun. Only for these : Carbine rifle,Deagle,pistol,silenced sounds,combat pistols,all shotguns,SMG and the Combat MG. ill post a files with folders which contains sounds of listed weapons and what are their names.

I'm loving those sound mods, but I don get it! Why not just upload the .WAV files instead of the whole .awc?

@Suspect I've a question .... I'm modding carabines sound ( in this case the m4 ) , any sounds files are in resident / weapons.rpf , but this folder have a lot of sound , how can I find sounds that i'm intrested ?

@Lorenzol999 awwww shiet! If i was home, i would look at them. I specified the weapon sound names in weapons.awc and it makes modding way easier

@Lorenzol999 lets say that you found the pistol sound in weapons.awc folder and its named 0x838A9 you just copy it to somewhere and make changes to it then drop it in weapons.awc again

@FC_Skrillex there are a bunch of files modders arent able to access yet, so if software to do so becomes available there will be a huge influx of mods

@TheSillyGooser hopefully there will be a safe way to go past the file limit cause I know if people mod the sound files and go over a certain size the game crashes or something but hopefully people can find a way around that

@TheJanitor if there is no sound its because there is a limit for audio file sizes and if it exceeds the amount (forget what it is) then all sounds won't play in game, they aren't corrupted

does anyone knows what is the name of the file in weapons awc for the carabine?
