@SuleMareVientu That's weird, how is that the case? But if so, then that's a massive plus to this mod. I will be watching your career with great interest.
@Mclpone I'm pretty sure that's literally what this mod does
@kevdaawsome anyway, the concept is something I've never seen anyone else attempt to do, at least not the way they did it. I thought it would be cool to see this concept revisited.
Any chance you could add a parameter where an effect is triggered every certain amount of meters traveled like what dark viper did a couple of videos on? That stuff's hilarious.
@pongo1231 hey, one of my favorite series from Dark viper is his distance triggered chaos mod, where for every certain number of meters crossed, an effect happens. What makes this interesting is that it means that using something really fast like an airplane can actually put you at a disadvantage because it makes more effects happen more frequently. The results are hilarious. Any chance you could implement something like that, where we could have it be based by distance traveled instead of just timed?
Yo, this is awesome. It's like that skate 3 session marker mod, but without Lua And it gives you the option to not save your speed, which honestly has gotten me wrecked a couple of times. I might just give this mod a try, though I usually play with a controller, but I understand that not everyone wants to add controller support.
@nep nep @William Halverd If you're playing in third person, the only way to reach max speed is to constantly mash the a button. In first person I believe you reach max speed by holding it, as I noticed that I'm noticeably faster in first person. But I know that not everyone plays that way. Am I correct?
@SuleMareVientu sorry, my point on my previous comment was that people will take forever to Melee into submission, which makes certain missions a lot harder if you don't just shoot people. You should mention that in the description. Especially since some people have mods that give peds more health for melee, If anyone uses that with this mod it's going to be an absolute nightmare. I would highly suggest people who installed mods to increase health to make melee combat more interesting uninstall those mods if they use this mod, otherwise they're going to have a bad time.
@SuleMareVientu I already removed the animation from my game files in the mods folder, and oh gods does it make melee combat in absolute nightmare. You can't knock people out anymore or do stealth takedowns, they just get right back up. What exactly is the advantage of your mod compared to just removing the file? More importantly, I'm curious how exactly this mod works. I'd look at the source code if I knew how to code.
