Description
Disables weapon pick up, so you cannot pick up weapons you don't want. Ammo and Molotov will still be collected.
To initially remove all weapons, please use Endeavor Mod Menu (F3 > Online Players > playername > Take All Weapons) or Remove Unwanted Weapons [LUA].
Installation
Requires OpenIV
1. Create backup of update.rpf (located in Grand Theft Auto V\update\)
2. Install and open OpenIV
3. Go to update\update.rpf\common\data\
4. Enable edit mode (F6 or button)
5. Move pickups.meta into OpenIV
6. Rebuild archive (Shift+Ctrl+R or File > Rebuild)
You can upload to other sites, but you must provide a link here and credit me (Hayuru).

Is it possible to exclude the Jerry can (fuel can) from this mod, if you use the car fuel mod you can't pick up the Jerry cans at fuel stations anymore :(

This is great. .meta files do a lot it seems. I'll have to use this if I'm to be able to make a new weapons inventory system. Thanks! :D
@PapiDimmi: Don't worry about it then. Go play your game how you want and quit complaining about how others play theirs.
Would it be possible to update this to work with DLC weapons? If you're using the riot mod, peds will sometimes use DLC weapons, and you'll pick them up even with this mod installed.
Can you please update this for DLC weapons?
Other than that, I appreciate this a lot! Multiple useless weapons that you have to scroll through is an annoying design flaw.
Do this mod needs scripthook or something to run? cuz i did everything according to the installation instructions.. and i'm still picking up weapons from cops, gang members etc and i know they aren't ammo cuz i'm picking Micro SMG and i don't use this weapon cuz i hate it deeply

I hate the clutter in weapon menu you get even early in the game so this mod rocks. My question is how do you go about picking up weapons you *do* want, or is it only possible to buy them from Ammunation?
Any way of not picking up dlc weapons?

Can this Be Updated ? i would rather use this mod than pickups 2.0. this is a simple script. and i don't want to mess with the mods update folder just to not pick up weapons
